Student activities are an integral part of the school program. Qualified students must be able to participate in any activity without regard to race, religion, national origin, disability, or sex. Generally approved by the principal and under the direct supervision of the staff, activities should contribute to the educational objectives of the school and should avoid interrupting the instructional program
The goal of all activities is to enhance students’ understanding, skill or effectiveness in a specific area by engaging multiple styles of learning. School activities also serve to infuse fun into learning as well as bolster student confidence and the ability to think critically.
All the activities are organized among the four Houses of the class. Most of the activities are based on the syllabi of the class. It aims at developing different skills. Parents must encourage their wards to take active participation in all these activities. Continuous practice and perseverance is the only road to success.
All the subject activities are first conducted in the classrooms to enable each and every child to take part in them. Then the best participants are selected and inter- class activities and competitions are organized on the third, fourth and fifth Saturdays of every month. The Parents are welcome if they wish to come and witness the performance of their wards on such days.
In education, the term exhibition refers to projects, presentations, or products through which students “exhibit” what they have learned, usually as a way of demonstrating whether and to what degree they have achieved expected learning standards or learning objectives.
Purpose of Exhibition – Education is the fusion process of teaching and learning. The purpose of education or for that matter of teaching is installing new beliefs, habits, information, and knowledge. Although books are a major source of information and learning, yet to develop new beliefs and habits by just reading and cramming a few books is just not possible. The education world including the teachers, are always on their toes searching the new and productive methods of teaching and learning process. Apart from the theoretical knowledge the education system also aims to develop social skills and soft skills among the students. There are various methods to involve students in learning and various modes to evaluate teachers as well as students in the teaching-learning process. An exhibition is a wonderful tool that caters to these entire requirements at the same time.
